How can you compete with Big-Box stores?

    A

We don’t really compete with Big-Box Stores- Quality Floors 4 Less does not sell cheap, low grade products, period!
Our business model is totally different: we are an Exclusive Distributor representing Smaller Market Brands that manufacture High Quality flooring products and they are owned by People and Families, not Corporations. We sell with low mark-ups, making a living on Installing the products that we sell, and not so much on Sales. That alone speaks of high quality- we wouldn’t want to install crappy products- been doing it for way too long in the past- installing for Flooring, Big-Box and Liquidation Stores around town for almost a decade…

Still, we are very competitive: We don’t have a Warehouse which means No High Rent/Mortgage, Utility Bills and Insurance payments; No Overhead; No payrolls for people driving forklifts, Sales people, Receptionists or Greeters, and our Great Location translates into much lower advertising expenses. We also don’t have Franchise fees to pay or Shareholders and CEO’s demanding higher profits- we just make an honest living by doing what we love to do, and we Love being Independent- it allows us to do things no Corporation is capable of doing, like: Can you talk to the owner of HomeDepo$ while comparing products? Will the Owner of LumberLiquidator$ install your floors personally? How about being able to call a local number to have your question answered within minutes? Or maybe talking to someone who was a Local Professional Installer and a General Contractor for 10 Years?

We, the Co-Owners of Quality Floors 4 Less- a decade-long Friends, Partners and now Family (being a God-Father to Anton’s newborn girl makes me a Family, right!?) we share all the daily work load: I (Dennis) am a Store Manager/Estimator/Sales/Cashier/Accountant/Customer Service and also a Janitor; Anton is a Project Manager/Quality-Control/Payroll/Delivery-Guy/Customer-Care and a Head Installer. Our Installers are our long time Friends as well- we do not hire people from the street, assuring that nothing ever goes missing from Customer’s Home and that the work is done properly, in a positive, friendly and drug/alcohol-free environment.
“Quality Floors 4 Less- Way Above the Rest! Tah-tah-dah”- …heck, we even write our own jingles!!

Why does Quality Floors 4 Less recommends 12mm Laminates?

    A

There are several reasons: a) Thinner Laminates (6,7,8,10mm) come with a Locking System that is not strong enough to withstand several Decades of your Floor’s Constant Movement (Expansion/Contraction with Temperature/Humidity Changes), especially with all that heavy furniture on it. b) Thin Laminates sound hollow and look fake. c) Only 12mm Laminates allow for a future Single Plank Replacement without taking an entire room apart (and baseboards too). d) Only 12mm Laminates come with a 25-30 Years Warranty.

Why do you not have a factory-attached padding on your Laminates?

    A

Pre-Attached Padding is a layer of Foam on the back of Laminate Planks. It is often about 1/16″ thick, offers NO moisture protection between seems (Required by All Manufacturers to maintain the Warranty; Thick Plastic must be purchased separately for that purpose), Costs 3-5 times Less than what the consumer pays for it, and offers NO Options like Acoustic and Insulating Properties. It is designed mainly to create an extra revenue for the Manufacturer. The Padding that we sell doubles as Moisture Barrier and gives you Options (Sound and Insulation).
